Health Data Management

Managing health data is critical during the research process. Research data management includes the organization of data throughout the research lifecycle, from data collection to publication to storage and archival. Health data that includes identifiers, or PHI (personal health identifiers) must be collected, stored, and processed in a way that complies with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
